About Global Market Alert

Global Market Alert was not born in a boardroom. It started with frustration.

Clément Massabo was a finance student preparing for a career in financial markets. After completing an internship on a trading floor at Société Générale, one question kept coming back: why is breaking into this industry so unnecessarily chaotic? Job offers were scattered across dozens of career websites. Some were already expired. Others were nearly impossible to find unless you knew exactly where to look. Interview preparation was even worse. You could study theory for months and still feel completely unprepared for the reality of a technical interview.

What began as a personal tool quickly became something more. Clément first built a simple system for himself and a few close friends to track market roles more efficiently and structure their preparation. It was not meant to be a business. It was meant to solve a real problem.

At the same time, Nathan, a lifelong friend and now co-founder, brought the technical mindset needed to turn that raw idea into a real product. We have known each other since middle school. What started as childhood friendship evolved into a partnership built on trust, complementary skills, and a shared ambition to build something meaningful. Nathan transformed scattered spreadsheets and prototypes into a scalable platform. The idea moved from a personal experiment to a structured, reliable tool.

Today, GMA provides structured job tracking, interview simulations, flashcards, and technical preparation tools designed specifically for students targeting competitive roles in finance. Every feature was built from real experience. Every tool answers a concrete pain point. The platform was never designed as a shortcut, and it does not promise miracles. It was designed to give ambitious candidates clarity, structure, and an edge.

We did not start this project to “build a startup.” We started it because we experienced firsthand how opaque and inefficient the process was. The mission remains the same: make high-level preparation accessible, structured, and practical.

Global Market Alert is still built with the same mindset it started with. Serious. Focused. Practical. And entirely dedicated to helping the next generation of finance professionals prepare better.
