Job Description

This role provides moderately complex research, reporting, and analytical support to ensure effective end to end services for Treasury dealers, prime brokerage partners, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing daily cash requirements, meeting critical payment and settlement cut offs, and investigating Treasury and prime brokerage cash discrepancies. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. Funding & Cash Management operates in a fast paced, dynamic environment, requiring strong prioritization skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and composure when working under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate bank account details and balances using internal systems and external reconciliation tools.
  • Perform research and conduct moderately complex analyses, including transactions requiring special handling and exception resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce operational risk, and improve the overall client experience.
  • Collaborate closely with trading, sales support, and other internal teams, as well as external counterparties and agents.
  • Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or exposures to management in a timely manner.
  • Investigate non receipts, unadvised funds, non payments, and unadvised debits, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and within defined deadlines.
  • Manage and respond promptly to written and verbal inquiries from internal departments, counterparties, and banking partners.
  • Develop a strong understanding of daily business requirements across multiple business units to deliver consistent, high quality client service.
  • Monitor daily bank account balances, as well as monthly bank fees and interest charges.
  • Prepare and distribute daily management reports and other management information system (MIS) reporting.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives supporting the Exceptions Management team.
  • Escalate issues impacting the Exceptions Management process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Process Prime Brokerage payments and funding activities accurately and within required timelines.
  • Confirm and settle Treasury FX transactions and trades.
  • Investigate and follow up on cash related inquiries supporting Prime Brokerage and cashiering activities.
  • Provide ongoing support to Treasury desk personnel and key stakeholders on funding, payment related queries, and projects.
  • Perform additional ad hoc duties and project work as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; open to recent graduates.
  • Proactive, confident, and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with Treasury and Operations teams.
  • Experience or strong interest in applying data analytics, artificial intelligence, or business analytics within payment and funding operations is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure within a team environment and consistently meet multiple daily cut offs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy.
  • Client focused mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver top tier service.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and use resources efficiently to meet business and client needs.
  • Proactive approach to supporting change, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing processes.
