Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform group regulatory reporting (including MAS Notice 757, MAS Notice 637, MAS Notice 643/643A, MAS Notice 656, MAS Top Borrower Group Survey, etc.) Perform management reporting Perform marked-to-market against financial collateral for limit adjustment Review Letter of Offer / Facility Agreement to ensure that covenants / credit conditions / credit milestones (i.e. financial covenants, time-dependent covenants, security covenants and Environmental, Social and Governance conditions) are correctly input for verification Perform independent verification of covenants / credit conditions / credit milestones (i.e. financial covenants, time-dependent covenants, security covenants and Environmental, Social and Governance conditions) for compliance Validate the supporting documents as evidence of independent verification (such as financial statement, green certificate, sustainability compliance certificate etc) Prepare management report and participate in process review, projects etc Train and nurture junior staff
Requirements
Degree in Banking & Finance or professional qualification. Able to provide good operations and administration support Good integrity, responsible, reliable and conscientious Able to guide the junior staff effectively in daily operations Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively with stakeholders Computer literacy Strong analytical, problem solving skill, project management skills and operational risks control skill Have a good understanding of financial statements / financial spreading and financial ratios Familiar with MAS Notices (credit related) Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills. Sound regulatory knowledge with database management skills including Oracle skills is an advantage. Ability to manage multiple initiatives and to work under challenging and demanding circumstances to meet deadlines.
