Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated trading strategies that utilize mathematical or AI/ML models for electronic pricing and auto-hedging
- Work with diverse datasets, e.g. market data, client, flows, news etc, to extract meaningful insights
- Rigorously backtest trading ideas & risk management strategies
- Building tools to enhance analytics and backtesting capabilities
- Work with the development team to architect & develop low-latency trading systems
- Work with FX traders to simplify and automate market making processes
Requirements
- A strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and a keen desire to pursue a career in quantitative trading
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a foundation in financial modelling and an eagerness to learn market dynamics and trading strategies
- Basic programming skills in Python, R, Q, Java or other relevant languages, with the potential to apply these to trading and data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure, with a willingness to develop these skills in a real-world trading environment
- Understanding of system networks, latency management, solutioning and trouble shooting
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a desire to continuously learn and contribute to both trading and structuring initiatives
- Candidates must be able to work 100% in office
- Knowledge of AI/ML is a bonus
